Dr. Wijnand Teeuw parodontoloog NVvP, behaalde in 2003 zijn doctoraaldiploma Biologie aan de Universiteit Utrecht met als afstudeerrichting Fundamentele Biomedische Wetenschappen (FBMW). In 2006 studeerde hij als tandarts af aan ACTA waaraan hij sinds die tijd verbonden is bij de sectie Parodontologie. Van 2009 t/m 2012 volgde hij aldaar de MSc‐opleiding tot parodontoloog, welke hij cum laude heeft afgerond. Sinds 2015 is hij hoofd van de kliniek voor Parodontologie van ACTA. Daarnaast heeft hij in 2017 zijn promotieonderzoek aangaande de relatie tussen parodontitis, diabetes mellitus en hart‐ en vaatziekten afgerond.

Wijnand J. Teeuw, periodontist, graduated in 2003 in Fundamental Biomedical Sciences at the University of Utrecht, the Netherlands. Three years later, in 2006, he graduated as a dentist at ACTA. After a period of working in a general dental office, combined with research at the department of Periodontology, he graduated in 2012 cum laude as MSc in Periodontology. Teeuw works full-time at ACTA. His Ph.D.-research is related to periodontitis and systemic health, in particular diabetes mellitus and cardiovascular diseases.
