Prof. dr. Jan de Lange is hoofd van de afdeling Mondziekten, Kaak‐ en Aangezichtschirurgie/Ziekenhuistandheelkunde in het AMC en eindverantwoordelijk voor de specialistenopleiding. Hij is hoofd van de sectie MKA/MTI van ACTA. Hij studeerde Tandheelkunde in Utrecht en Geneeskunde aan de UvA. Daarnaast is hij epidemioloog en werkzaam in Isala Klinieken te Zwolle. Zijn wetenschappelijk werk bestaat uit meer dan 70 publicaties en hij houdt veelvuldig (inter‐)nationale lezingen over diverse onderwerpen binnen het vakgebied.
Professor Jan de Lange Ph.D is a full professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and chair of the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Dentistry in the Academic Medical Center in Amsterdam. He is also a board certified Epidemiologist. In the AMC he is head of the resident program. He received his Dental degree from the University of Utrecht in 1988 and his Medical degree from the University of Amsterdam. In 2006 he achieved his PhD. He has published on a variety topics and is co-author of several books.
