Dr. João Tribst is a dentist with extensive expertise in dental material characterization and prosthodontic biomechanics. In 2021, he was appointed as Assistant Professor at the Department of Reconstructive Oral Care at the Academic Center for Dentistry Amsterdam (ACTA). Recognized as a leading researcher in Finite Element Analysis, João serves as the Director of Prosthodontics for the postgraduate Master's programme in Oral Health Sciences. Besides, he teaches undergraduate dental students from the Bachelor and Master at ACTA. As an educator, he delivers both theoretical and practical courses in prosthetic dentistry. Also, João is an active reviewer and a member of several editorial boards for indexed, peer-reviewed journals.
