Bio

Dr. Naichuan Su is used to be a dentist in China and is a registered senior epidemiologist in the Netherlands. In 2020, he has been appointed as Assistant Professor at the Department of Oral Public Health at the Academic Center for Dentistry Amsterdam (ACTA). As a researcher, his expertise mainly focuses on dental epidemiology, evidence-based dentistry, methodologies, and research integrity. His main research lines include the association between oral health and general health, prediction modelling in oral health outcomes, and ‘spin’ and reporting quality of dental publications. Furthermore, he is a certified university lecturer and teaches several courses at ACTA on biostatistics, SPSS software, systematic reviews, and research methods. He has been a statistical consultant for bachelor, master, PhD students and other researchers at ACTA since 2019.
