Dr. Sergio Bizzarro is an Associate Professor at the Department of Periodontology at the Academic Center for Dentistry Amsterdam (ACTA). In 2005 he was recognized as a periodontist (NVvP) and in 2015 he obtained his PhD in the field of treatment and diagnosis of periodontitis and its relationship with general health. At ACTA, Sergio provides lectures and workshops for both undergraduate dental students and the postgraduate programme in Oral Health Sciences. He also works at a referral practice for Periodontology and Implantology in Almere.
